Cops seize gun found in microwave, four men arrested

Police in St Ann have charged four men with possession of a prohibited weapon after a firearm was discovered hidden inside a microwave at a Cuffie Ridge, Cave Valley residence.

The unusual find came during an early morning operation on Monday, December 8, when officers from the St Ann's Bay Police executed a search at the home occupied by the men.

Charged are 22-year-old deliveryman Tajay Brown, 29-year-old farmer Cliveroy Underhill, 32-year-old farmer Nassive Underhill, and 30-year-old construction worker Kevin Underhill, all residents of Cuffie Ridge.

Reports indicate that the firearm was found concealed in a bag inside a microwave in one of the rooms. Following the seizure, all four men were taken into custody and jointly charged on Tuesday, December 9.

Their court date is currently being finalised.

Police continue to investigate the matter as authorities call on residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity in their communities.
