107 more Jamaicans test positive for COVID-19

Of the 1,059 samples tested in Jamaica in the last 24 hours, 107 have tested positive for COVID-19, pushing total confirmed cases to 14,879 with 2,497 being active.

Of the new cases, 45 are males and 62 are females, with ages ranging from 1 year to 95 years.

In the meantime, there were 20 more recoveries, increasing the total to 11,870.

Some 98 persons are in hospital with 10 being moderately and 13 critically ill.

According to the Ministry of Health, 10 persons are in government quarantine, while 21,635 are quarantined at home.
