Star Captyn looking forward to big things in 2019

Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Star Captyn has kicked off his career on a very high note.

The artiste has been enjoying a good run in 2018, but he is looking forward to even bigger things for 2019.

Though relatively fresh on the scene, Star Captyn has built a huge reputation in the streets for his lyrical prowess. He is also known for his intro on Alkaline’s single, Wait Yuh Turn. 

“One thing that everybody knows about Captyn and that is mi nuh stagnant, mi always keep moving and growing and learning. That’s how you become successful, and that’s the dream right now, to become one of the top dancehall artistes to come out of Jamaica. And mi know say this dream is going to be a reality,” the artiste said.

Star Captyn, who is currently a member of the Vendetta family, led by dancehall superstar Alkaline, is currently promoting two new singles - Lights Out, produced by Gego Don Records, and Be Wise, featuring Sashie Cool, produced by Chimney Records.

“A whole heap more things in the pipeline for Star Captyn, so just remember the name cause me a come take the world by storm," he said.
